A circle has no beginning and no end, its an interminable shape that just goes on and on ...an apt description for Freddie Johnson's 360 Degree band. The group has gone on and on for 15 years for three members of the band, and they plan to continue infinitely with their limitless music. 1970. Johnson backed Barbara Lynn at the Town Hall Room upon his return back to Kansas City. Later Johnson up with the Soul Sessions at clubs such at the Pen Rod's 19th Hole. 50 Casablanca and OG's. Later, he began playing with Al Hayes and began the 360 degree band in 1975. With the help of James Whitney and Lionell Jones, I began the Number one 3 piece band in the city" said Johnson. We backed people like Syl Johnson, Frankie Lee, Little Johnnie Taylor, Vernon Josette. Little Milton, Z Z Hill, Barbara Lynn, Albert King, Albert Collins, Baby Blond, Rudy Ray Moore, and Jimmy Lynch to name a few. Recording star, James Whitney, will also be there with his new release, I Still Love You The Same Way and Fun In My Life. The 360 Degree Band is one of the most called on bands in the twin-cities. The group has also been featured at Howard Johnsons, Hyatt Regency, Nichols Party House and many other clubs and hotels throughout the city. (Herein called Federation). Contract Blank.
