A gentleman's bedroom in an unidentified home. A high-post rope-tied bed has a lace canopy suspended by the posts. A trunk at the end of the bed has a black top hat and a white top hat on it. A parasol, an umbrella, and a carpet bag are next to the trunk. The white top hat has some damage. To the right of the trunk is a toilet stand with a water pitcher and bowl on it. To the left of the bed is a night table. To the left of the table is a fireplace with a lace runner around the mantle, a clock and some glassware on the mantle, and tools to keep a fire by the fireplace. A chest of drawers to the extreme left with a valet on top. This is a photograph of one of the "black-light" murals at the Planetarium showing the moon becoming immersed in the earth's shadow, at time of a lunar eclipse. The moon is not actually obscured at time of eclipse - it takes on a deep coppery tone because of the fact that some of the sun's light is refracted or beat into the earth's shadow.
