I, "The history of the written word." This is version B; from Alfred W. Stites' third "release" of sets. Within no. I, it is no. 14 out of 15 sets.

Pages from the past by country of origin
In this Pages from the Past collection the pages are separated by country in which they were either printed or created. There are currently pages from 15 different countries: Austria, Belgium, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Persia, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. For a few of the pages country of origin has not yet been determined, and they are in their own collection.
Pages from the past by date
In this Pages from the Past collection the pages are separated chronologically by date of printing or creation in ten year increments. Currently the collection contains pages ranging from 1500 B.C. to 1873. There are a few pages for which date has not yet been determined, and they are separated into their own collection.

In this Pages from the Past collection the pages are separated by language. There are currently pages in 13 different languages: Arabic, Dutch, Egyptian hieroglyphs, English, Early Modern English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Irish, Italian, Latin, Persian, and Spanish.

    • Date is identified by the color of the markers. The corresponding color and century can be viewed in the side menu, accessed using the button in the top left corner above the map. The pages in the collection are categorized by century, with the exception of the papyri. The map's display can be changed to show only certain centuries by selecting or deselecting centuries in the side menu. Titles are shown alphabetically within their centuries--again with the exception of the papyri, which are in chronological order. Clicking on the marker, either on the map or in the side menu, displays all the details about that particular title. The full screen map opens in Google Maps, and can be searched by title, date, country, city, and language.
