SPRR loading Sea-Land container destined for Houston, Barbours Cut and New Orleans. Empties and export loads return to Oakland and then empty cars return to LA. Cars produced by ACF ST. Louis. ACF was bought by Carl Icahn in 1984 and he shut the plant down just as double stack container cars were gaining momentum.
