Ted Malone stands outside under a mile marker on a street pole and by a electric power source in France as a war correspondent in World War II. The legible words on the mile marker sign are, "Calvados; St. Pierre-du-Mont." There are many wires attached to the street pole. His right hand is bent with his thumb pointing over his shoulder behind him while his right hand points forward. He wears an envelope cap and jacket and carries a backpack slung over his right shoulder. There are bushes behind him. A fencepost to his left has a sign attached that says "Daybreak" in English.
