An unidentified group of six African American men and two African American women stand inside a business. In the bottom right corner is a shoe shine chair (shoe shine stand). Behind the shoe shine stand along the wall are three pinball machines which one man with a cigar in his right hand and one woman lean on. Another man stands behind the third pinball machine. In the aisle between the pinball machines and the sales counter, stand two men and one woman. The woman is holding a cigarette in her right hand. Two men lean along the sales counter on the left side of the photograph. At the farthest end of the counter is an open doorway with a sign above that reads, "No admittance. Employees only. Requested by Mgr." Inside the room behind the doorway are soft drink crates stacked in front of a what is possibly a jukebox. Behind the counter are shelves with cubbies for different flat storage items. On the top frame of the shelves is a sign that reads, "Luckies tastes better." On top of the shelves is a uniform hat and other assorted items. In the front right corner is a glass display case with a slanted front glass with what appears to be display boxes of candy inside of the case.
