He wears a high collar with a neck tie. A suit with a watch chain attached to his lapel button hole and extending down into his suit jacket breast pocket. He wears button shoes. There is a clock on the mantel with a sculpture of, perhaps, Don Quixote. Also an elaborate metal base holding fireplace tools stands behind the man.
