The library in Ralph Waldo Emerson house has a wall of bookshelves filled with books. Two side chairs and a folding table sit along the bookshelves. A round table sits in the center of the room in front of the fireplace with a door on either side. Rolled maps lean against the wall to the right of the bookshelves. A fan-back rocking chair sits by the round table. The carved mantle has a marble inset above the fireplace. Conch shells and other items sit on the fireplace. A large painting hangs above the mantle.
