Behind the girls, under the basketball basket, an African American man and woman sit in upholstered chairs and wear large corsages. The woman has a crown on her head. The man is wearing a fedora hat. To the right and behind the girls, African American boys and men sit against the wall wearing suits. On the center farthest right in the photograph stands a white man in a suit by a table with a basketball on it.
