Ahmad Alaadeen, wearing a kufi cap, stands and plays a soprano sax with his back to George Duke, wearing a ball cap and playing a baby grand piano while performing with the George Duke Band. A bass player standing behind the piano may possibly be Christian McBride. The drummer is Ndugu sitting on risers among his drum set above the rest of the band. This concert was the night before the Annual 18th & Vine Gala "Ellington At 99: Livin' On The Vine" at the Gem Theater in the 18th and Vine district of Kansas City, Missouri.
