Boys Meet Sports Announcer
Boys from the Boys Town of Missouri meet baseball sports announcer Joe Garagiola at a Christmas party given for them by the radio station KMOX at the Chase Hotel. The Christmas party was co-sponsored by the St. Louis area food brokers and chain store operators with more than 80 boys present.

Nearly 100 boys from Boys Town of Missouri along with teachers and counselors arrive in Chesterfield after their 160 mile journey from St. James MO. The caravan included eight covered wagons, thirty-five mules and eighty horses and followed portions of the Lewis and Clark trail.

Boys Town Picture Taking

A. C. Reichardt of the Boys Town of Missouri board of directors presents a plaque to Gary Clark of American Body Co. in appreciation of the work the company did for for Boys Town. The two others pictured are American Body Service Manager Ed Mahoney and American Body Vice President Bob Dietz. The four of them stand next to a 1959 Ford Edsel donated by Jack Staed which American Body rebuilt for an auction benefiting Boys Town.

Boys Town Vocational Education Program
Building a jeep from scrap as a vocational education program at Boys Town of Missouri. The Monsanto Fund gave Boys Town $13,000 to buy tools so such programs could be expanded.
