Claude "Fiddler" Williams looks down at something on the table he is sitting at in the Blue Room in the American Jazz Museum in the 18th and Vine District of Kansas City, Missouri, on the occasion of his 93rd birthday celebration. A few audience members are visible behind him. The date, "2 16 '03," is imprinted by the camera on the bottom right-hand corner of the photograph.
