Typewritten note attached to back, "#10 Another 80-foot boom crane hoists the tree into position on its base which has been built on Rockefeller Plaza above the skating pond. While still supported by the crane, the tree's lower branches are untied and four heavy steel guy cables are attached to the upper trunk and anchored to the buildings to safely secure the tree against the strong winds which blow through Rockefeller Plaza."
