John Greenleaf Whittier house of his birth in Haverhill, Massachusetts is a plain two-story house with one chimney in the center of the roof. A low rock wall runs along the front of the house separating the house from the snowy front lawn. There is an addition to the house to the left. A person is entering a side door to the right.
