A circular plaque between the two first story windows states, "American Legion" around the outer circle and "Protect New Brunswick Children" in the center of the circle. A large flagpole with the flag of the United States of America stands in the right of the yard. A sign in the window the front door states, "Joyce Kilmer Post No. 25. American Legion." An American Legion Post globe hangs above the porch.
