Ted Malone, a camera in his right hand and another hanging from a strap around his neck, speaks with a fishmonger seated at a table full of fish at the Copenhagen Fish Market at Gammel Strand in Denmark in front of the statue "Fishwife" from her right side. Crowds of people at other tables and on the sidewalks are in the background along with the Fiskehuset No. 1-Oscar Fredericksen Restaurant. The fishmongers wear bonnets or newspapers over their heads to block the sun. There's a wagon on the street and bicycles on the sidewalk.
