Contestants 17, Sandi Byrd, 22, 25, 27 stand on stage during the Miss Boating 1981 contest. Farthest to the left, Sandi holds her contestant number card mid-waist in her left hand as she wears a red, one-piece, v-neck swimsuit with a bow over the left hip, earrings, a necklace, a wrist watch, and clear plastic shoes with red bows over the toes. To her left, contestant 22 wears a black, one-piece swimsuit with one spaghetti strap attached to the center of the bodice, black and white horizontal stripes across the bodice, and black pumps. To her left, contestant 25 wears a teal, one-piece swimsuit and teal open-toed shoes. Farthest to the right, contestant 27 wears a black one-piece swimsuit with one wide shoulder strap over her left shoulder, and taupe sandals. Silver lamé drapes are behind them.
