Contestant 9, Melanie Derr, wears pink, white and purple square-necked, one-piece swimsuit of which the stripes outline the neckline and the bodice is a raspberry color, a gold chain necklace, a tiger-eye ring, and open-toed shoes during the Miss Boating 1981 contest. She holds her contestant number card in her right hand at the center of her body. Silver lamé drapes are behind her. This photograph was taken at the Patricia Stevens studio.
