Silver lamé drapes are behind contestants 1 through 5 wearing one-piece swimsuits during the Miss Boating 1981 contest. Farthest to the left, contestant 1 wears a blue swimsuit with one spaghetti strap around her neck and a gold chain necklace. To her left, contestant 2 wears a black swimsuit with one spaghetti strap around the neck and a pink, aqua and orange banner printed on the front and small hoop earrings. To her left, contestant 3 wears a blue v-neck, swimsuit that gathers horizontally across the body and a gold chain necklace and a gold necklace with a heart hanging upside down in the center of her chest. To her left, contestant 4 wears an orange swimsuit with white straps that cause a white line down each side of her body and open toes shoes with ankle straps. Farthest to the right, contestant 5 wears a purple, one-piece, scoop-neck swimsuit, a gold chain necklace, and pumps. They hold their contestant number cards.
