Miss Boat Show beauty queen sits on the left arm of an upholstered chair with her feet in the seat with runner-ups and unidentified woman during K.C. Boat, Sports & Travel Show, held in the Little Theater of the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. She holds an oar in both of her hands with the handle to her right and the paddle to her left. She wears a captains hat, a navy blue one-piece swimsuit and white pumps. Behind her and the chair to her right, contestant 65, Pam White stands with her left hand on the back of the chair wearing an olive green one-piece swimsuit with a white and mustard green "V" inset at the waist. Standing behind the chair to Pam White right is an unidentified woman wearing a white wide-collared shirt under a power blue jacket. In front of the woman, sitting on the right arm of the chair is contestant 68, Susan Morris. She holds the handle of the oar with both hands as she wears a red one-piece swimsuit with a wide black belt around her waist that has three buckles. A tall art deco floor lamp of silver metal and glass stands behind the group to their left sides.
