Miss Boating 1976 Queen, Kathy Denton, sits in a small yellow sailboat with her legs stretched out on in front of her and crossed at the knee during the K.C. Boat, Travel and Sports Show which was held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. She wears a tiara, a one-piece black swimsuit and holds a bouquet on her left arm. The photographer caught her in a sideways glance with her eyes not quite open all the way.
