Miss Boating 1976 Queen, Kathy Denton, stands between two unidentified women during the K.C. Boat, Travel and Sports Show which was held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. The woman to her right smiles at the photographer as she wears a belted red winter coat with gray and white fur collar and cuffs. Kathy also smiles at the photographer as she wears a tiara, a black one-piece swimsuit, and holds a bouquet over her left arm. She's slightly turned with her right leg over her left. The woman to her left smiles to her right towards Kathy as she wears a gray and white scarf tied as a choker around her neck, a pink, gray, and white geometric design blouse, and a gray wool trousers with a pleated waist and a black belt with a silver buckle. A crowd and a small yellow sailboat are visible behind them.
