Miss Boating 1976 contestants 6, 16, 25, 26, and 36 stand on stage in front of a yellow and white sail during the K.C. Boat, Travel and Sports Show which was held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. Contestant 6 stands farthest to the left wearing a purple velveteen one-piece swimsuit that laces up the front and has cutouts in the sides. She holds her contestant card in her left hand by her left thigh. To her left stands contestant 16 wearing a blue, high neckline, one-piece swimsuit with white swimmer silhouettes and brown wedge-heel sandals. She holds her contestant card in her left hand by her left hip. To her left only the face and left leg are visible of contestant 25. To her left, contestant 26 wears a pink, green and white fleur-de-lis pattern one-piece swimsuit and white pumps. To her left, African American contestant 36 wears a white one-piece swimsuit and white sandals with high heels.
