Miss Boating 1976 contestants 1, 2 and 6 stand together during the K.C. Boat, Travel and Sports Show which was held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. African American contestant 1 wears a pink one-piece swimsuit with side cutouts and holds her contestant card in her right hand by her left thigh. To her left, contestant 2 wears a white one-piece swimsuit with a green, purple, blue, and pink floral pattern and a skirt bottom. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right hip. To her left, contestant 6 wears a purple velveteen one-piece swimsuit that laces up the front and has side cutouts. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right hip.
