Miss Boating 1976 contestant (31) through 40 stand in front of a small yellow sailboat during the K.C. Boat, Travel and Sports Show which was held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. Contestant 31 is farthest to the left and wears a red one-piece swimsuit with a white floral pattern and white pumps. To her left, contestant 32 wears a red and white gingham one-piece swimsuit and black open-toed pumps. She holds her contestant card in both hand in the center of her body. To her left, contestant (34), Kathy Denton, wears a black one-piece swimsuit and black pumps. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right hip but the number is not visible. To her left, contestant 35 also wears a black one-piece swimsuit and black character shoes. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her left hip. To her left, African American contestant 36 wears a white one-piece swimsuit and white sandals with heels. She holds her contestant card in her left hand by her left hip. To her left, African American contestant 37 wears a kelly green one-piece swimsuit and green open-toed pumps. She holds her contestant card in her left hand by her right hip. To her left, contestant 38 wears a white one-piece swimsuit and red open-toed pumps. She holds her contestant card in her right hand in the center of her body. To her left, contestant 39 wears a black one-piece swimsuit that laces up the center of the front and black character shoes. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right thigh. To her left, contestant 40 wears a one piece teal one-piece swimsuit with flowers and white sandals with heels. The swimsuit has the sides cut out. She holds her contestant card in both hands in the center of her body.
