Description

Miss Boating 1976 contestants 21 through 30 are on stage in front of a small yellow sailboat during the K.C. Boat, Travel and Sports Show which was held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. Farthest to the left, contestant (21)'s back is to the photographer as she begins her turn. She wears a one-piece turquoise swimsuit with four straps over each shoulder. To her left, contestant (22) also has her back to the photographer and wears a one-piece black swimsuit and white pumps. To her left, contestant 23 wears a one-piece swimsuit of orange, red, pink and purple panels that run diagonally to form a "V" in the center of her body and white platform sandals. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right side. To her left, contestant (24) wears an aqua one-piece swimsuit with blue, pink, green, yellow, and white flowers and white character shoes. To her left, contestant (25) wears a maroon one-piece swimsuit with two horizontal white stripes across the top of the bodice and white pumps. To her left, contestant 26 wears a white swimsuit with a green and pink fleur-di-lis pattern on it and white pumps. She holds her contestant card in her left hand by her left hip. To her left, African American contestant 27 wears a slate blue one-piece swimsuit and newsboy cap and black character shoes. To her left, contestant (28) wears a pastel floral one-piece swimsuit and white sandals with block heels. To her left, contestant 29 a black one-piece swimsuit and black character shoes. Farthest to the right, contestant (30), wears a baby blue one-piece swimsuit and white pumps.
