Description

Miss Boating contestants (1) (6) (5) (27) and a photographer set up for a photograph in and around a small yellow sailboat during the K.C. Boat, Sports & Travel Show held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. Contestant (1) stands farthest to the left and is partially out of the photograph. She wears a one-piece black swimsuit. To her left, contestant (6) wears a lime green bikini and holds the right side of a white life preserver with the words printed in large red letters, "K.C. Boat, Sports & Travel Show. Jan. 31 - Feb. 9" around the center. To her left, contestant (5) holds the left side of the life preserver as she wears a lime green bikini. Behind her and to her left and mostly obscured, the head and swimsuit of contestant (27) can be seen sitting looking down in the sailboat behind the group. A male photographer is farthest to the right facing right and looking back talking to contestant (27) and holding a camera in his left hand.
