Description

Miss Boating contestants 51 through 54 stand in front of a small yellow sailboat during the K.C. Boat, Sports & Travel Show held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. Contestant 51, farthest to the left, wears a one-piece swimsuit of pink, green, black and white diagonal stripes and white sandals with heels as she holds her contestant card in her right hand in the center of her body. To her left, contestant 52 wears a black one-piece swimsuit and brown platform sandals. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right hip. To her left, African American contestant 53 wears a one-piece swimsuit with white vertical panels on the sides and a navy blue panel down the center and white sandals with heels. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right hip. To her left, contestant 54 wears a one-piece swimsuit of alternating black and gray vertical panels and white sandals with heels.
