Miss Boating contestants 36 through 39 stand in front of a small yellow sailboat during the K.C. Boat, Sports & Travel Show held in the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. Farthest to the left, contestant 36 wears a white one-piece swimsuit with a keyhole in the center and white character shoes. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right side. To her left, contestant 37 wears a red, white, and blue checked one-piece swimsuit and white character shoes. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right hip. To her left, contestant 38 wears a purple with pink polka-dots one-piece swimsuit that is a skirt around the bottom and brown sandals. She holds her contestant card in her left hand by her left hip. To her left, contestant 39 wears a slate, blue, green and pink large paisley design one-piece swimsuit and open-toed shoes. She holds her contestant card in her right hand by her right hip.
