A master of ceremonies wearing a white tuxedo, stands farthest to the left on a stage of ten contestants during the Miss Independence Princess Pageant event. All wear full-length evening gowns. Sheryl Cruwell stands fifth from the left. Band equipment and a few members of a band are visible behind the contestants. This was during the Miss Independence Princess Pageant at Truman High School in Independence, Missouri.
