Miss Kansas City 1975, Elizabeth Hill adjusts her tiara with her left hand while wearing a shining gun metal gray, halter-top evening gown with a horizontal pin at the base of the collar to form a keyhole in the bodice and a sequined, inset empire waistline, as Miss Kansas City 1974, Madeline Kuppersmith, wearing a three-quarter length bell-sleeved, pink floral evening gown with green leaves with a double row of ruffles around the bottom of the skirt and a ruffle around the collar as well as a crown and pink character shoes, holds pins in her uplifted hands on the right side of Elizabeth's head. Madeline's right side is to the photographer. The back and left side of a man in a black tuxedo and a boutonniere is on the right side of the photograph. The left side of another man in a black and white tuxedo jacket and black tuxedo pants who is mostly obscured by the man in the black tuxedo is visible to the left of Elizabeth. A microphone stands in front of and in between Madeline and Elizabeth. A trophy with a hand around it is visible on the left side of the photograph. The contest was held in Pierson Auditorium on the Volker campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
