Madeline Kuppersmith, Miss Kansas City 1974, puts a tiara on Elizabeth Hill's, Miss Kansas City 1975 head
Description
The right side and the back of the head of a man in a black and white plaid tuxedo jacket and black tuxedo pants holds a trophy in the palm of his right and steadies the center of it with his left hand on the left side of the photograph as Madeline Kuppersmith, Miss Kansas City 1974, wearing a three-quarter length bell-sleeved, pink floral evening gown with green leaves with a double row of ruffles around the bottom of the skirt and a ruffle around the collar as well as a crown and pink character shoes, begins the crowning of Miss Kansas City 1975, Elizabeth Hill. Elizabeth has her shoulders pulled up next to her ears as she scrunches down slightly to allow Madeline to reach the top of her head. Elizabeth's eyes are closed. Elizabeth wears a shining gun metal gray, halter-top evening gown with a horizontal pin at the base of the collar to form a keyhole in the bodice and a sequined, inset empire waistline and silver shoes. Other contestants can be seen behind them as well as lettering in front of gold print drapes that most likely spell "Miss Kansas City." The contest was held in Pierson Auditorium on the Volker campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
