Miss Kansas City 1974, Madeline Kuppersmith, speaks into a microphone on stage wearing a crown and a three-quarter length sleeved, pink floral evening gown with green leaves with a double row of ruffles around the bottom of the skirt and a ruffle around the collar and the bottom of the sleeves during the Miss Kansas City 1975 pageant held in Pierson Auditorium on the Volker campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. A man wearing a tuxedo and a bow tie is standing to her left also standing behind a microphone and holding paper in both of his hands. The word "City" in underlined script can be seen hanging on the drapes behind them. A couple of seated audience members can be seen in front of them at the bottom of the photograph.
