Contestant Jane Hawkins, wearing a white pinafore apron over a dark pink dress with a strip of white lace around the crew collar and the edges of the puffed short sleeves, white anklet socks, and white (possibly) tap shoes with pink bows attached to them during the talent portion of the Miss Kansas City 1975 pageant in Pierson Auditorium on the Volker campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri smiles as she is caught by the photographer in mid-air with her arms spread wide and her toes about to touch the stage. Behind her are printed drapes with letters attached to it that spell out "Miss Kansas City." Only "Miss" is visible in this photograph.
