Contestant Jane Hawkins, from her left side, walks across a stage during the Miss Kansas City 1975 pageant in Pierson Auditorium on the Volker campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. She wears a white, long-sleeved evening gown with a sequined inset empire waistband and sequins around the turtle neck collar and the cuffs. She also wears white pumps. The heads of some band members can be seen seated behind the stage.
