Miss Kansas City 1975 contestant, Galen Everhart, sits on a stool behind a microphone for her guitar and a microphone for her to sing into as she plays the guitar and sings during the talent portion of the Miss Kansas City 1975 pageant in Pierson Auditorium on the Volker campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. She wears a black and white checkerboard print dress with white lace around the edge of the hem, around the collar, four vertical panels across the bodice, and around each puffed short sleeve. The cuffs of the sleeves are wide white lace.
