Description
During the Raytown Miss America 1971 Pageant, Teresa Mohr the new Miss Raytown, sits on a white lacework bench smiling as she wears white, sleeveless evening gown with black-piped ruffles down the center of the bodice and the skirt and white gloves just over the elbow. She holds her crown on her head with her right hand and she holds a bouquet of red roses and greenery in her left arm. She sits in the center of the runners-up. Runner up contestant 14 to Teresa's right, wears a yellow, long-sleeved evening gown with a crew-neck and yellow wrist-length gloves and smiles to her left toward the other two runners-up. The next runner up contestant number 8 to Teresa's direct left, wears a pink, long-sleeved evening gown with a white lace bodice and cuffs and pink, wrist-length gloves. To her left, runner up contestant number 15 wears a sky-blue satin evening gown with a silver nylon overlay, wrist-length white gloves, and white pumps. All three runner-up hold a trophy in their hands.
