Charleen Shepherd places the crown on Teresa Mohr's head
Description
During the Raytown Miss America 1971 Pageant, Teresa Mohr, winner, is being crowned by Charleen Shepherd and possibly Jill Marlene Fleetwood. Charlene, from her right side, wears a crown, an evening gown with a black and white checkerboard bodice and a skirt of black, white, and gray panels, and elbow-length white gloves. She holds the crown with both hands over the head of Teresa as Teresa leans down a bit to receive the crown. Teresa, from her left side, wears a white, sleeveless evening gown and white gloves that come to just above her elbow. Possibly Jill Marlene Fleetwood's face can be seen between the two. She is wearing a lavender evening gown. Other contestants can be seen behind them in the dark.
