Teresa Mohr, Joanne Cole, Catherine Corum, Cathy Wiltfong, Nathalie Willis, Julie Hinton, Robin Steinman, and Jill Stigall stand on stage during the evening gown portion of the Raytown Miss America 1971 Pageant. A bit of the left side of Carol Mabbott can be seen on the left side of the photograph wearing a deep yellow evening gown and a bit of the right side of Pamela King wearing a light yellow evening gown can be seen on the right side of the photograph. Farthest to the left is Teresa Mohr who wears white, sleeveless evening gown with black-piped ruffles down the front center of the bodice and skirt and white gloves that come above the elbow. To Teresa's left, Joanne Cole wears a shiny, multi-colored, sleeveless evening gown with paisley and handkerchief patterns and a matching inset wide empire waistband. She also wears white gloves that come above her elbows. To her left, Catherine Corum wears a lavender, long-sleeved evening gown with a white lace bodice and cuffs with matching lavender gloves. To her left, Cathy Wiltfong wears a light pink, sleeveless, turtleneck evening gown with an embroidered inset at the empire waist line and white gloves that come above the elbow. To her left, Nathalie Willis wears a long-sleeved, Edwardian collared evening gown. The top from the collar to the empire waistline is a white, ruffled button-up shirt with translucent sleeves. The navy blue skirt has an embroidered waistband and panel around the bottom of the skirt. To her left, Julie Hinton wears a candlelight, sleeveless, empire waist evening gown with sequins on the bodice that has a keyhole at the throat, and white gloves that come above the elbows. To her left, Robin Steinman wears a barely blue, long-sleeved, turtle neck ball gown with puffy white sleeves and a wide empire waistband and white gloves. To her left, Jill Stigall wears a sleeveless, turtleneck evening gown with a steel blue bodice and a gold lamé empire waistband and skirt. She also wears white gloves that come above the elbows.
