Charleen Shepherd, Miss Raytown 1970, wears a crown, a sleeveless, crew-neck evening gown of a pattern in gold on cream and gold around the neckline and the empire waistband, a white corsage, and white gloves that extend above the elbows, as she stands to the right of Scott Kisler, Master of Ceremonies, who wears a black tuxedo and bow tie with a dark pink ruffled shirt and pocket kerchief and a white carnation boutonniere during the Raytown Miss America 1971 Pageant.
