Description
Cheri Hatfield stands to the left of a large white poster with the number "3" and the words written vertically "MAXI," "MIDI," and "MINI" during the talent portion of the Miss America Preliminary Contest for Miss Raytown 1970, Raytown, Missouri. A tall chair stands to the left of the poster. Cheri wears a dusty rose long-sleeved, button-down shirt under a baby blue full-length vest with two clasps of chain across the bodice. Under the vest she wears a plaid full-length skirt or possibly elephant leg pants with a seam running horizontally at the midi length and the mini length. The plaid is peach, red/orange, baby blue and cream. A microphone wire is looped around her neck to hold the microphone just below her throat.
