during the talent portion of the Miss Raytown 1970 pageant
Description
Sharron Carlson stands on stage holding a microphone to her mouth with her right hand as she wears a navy blue vest that is the same mini length as her red, gold, blue, and white large paisley patterned dress underneath, and navy blue pumps during the talent portion of the Miss America Preliminary Contest for Miss Raytown 1970, Raytown, Missouri. Her dress has long puffed sleeves and a mock-turtle neck collar. Behind her is a large tan poster with a textured frame that has an outfit very similar to what Sharron is wearing displayed on it. The poster also has "$11.36" and a pennant attached to it.
