Description
Jill Fleetwood, reigning Miss Raytown 1969 stands next to a young fan during the Miss America Preliminary Contest for Miss Raytown in Raytown, Missouri. The fan holds a program with the cartoon character "Reddy Kilowatt" from the Missouri Public Service Company on the back holding a bouquet of flowers. She also holds a sweater and a pen. Miss Fleetwood is wearing a crown and a white, scoop-neck, cap-sleeved evening gown with a ball gown skirt that has white flowers applied randomly on the skirt. The bodice has the appliqued flowers in total with a small bauble in the center of each flower. The flowers continue over her shoulders to form the cap sleeves.
