Description

Two photographs, side by side, of the head and shoulders of Melanie Derr, Miss Boating 1982, and her court. The photograph on the left has the runner ups on either side of Melanie. The photograph on the right had the runners up above and behind Melanie's head and a portion of a Patricia Stevens banner behind the three women. The runner up on the left wears a swimsuit with spaghetti straps that meet in the middle of the bodice and form a "V" up to the shoulders. Melanie wears a tiara, earrings, a necklace of one gem, a square-neckline swimsuit with alternating stripes outlining the neckline and straps. The runner up on the right wears a swimsuit with piping on the right side of the v-neck, earrings, and a small one-gem necklace. The show was held at the Kansas City Trade Mart in the downtown airport, Kansas City, Missouri. These photographs were taken at the Patricia Stevens Studio.
