Description

Contestants 8, 9, and 10 of the Miss Boating 1982 pageant stand in front of a Patricia Stevens agency banner that hangs behind them on silver lamé drapes. Their contestant cards are attached to their one-piece swimsuits on their left hips. Contestant 8 wears a red, v-neck swimsuit with a rainbow from right body top to low body left with a white swan swimming on the navy blue water below the rainbow, a necklace, and taupe sandals. To her left, contestant 9 wears a black swimsuit with spaghetti straps that meet in the middle of the bodice and form a "V" up to the shoulders and black pumps. To her left, contestant 10 wears a black swimsuit with spaghetti straps and stripes of aqua and pink running horizontally across the bodice and black open-toed shoes. The show was held at the Kansas City Trade Mart in the downtown airport, Kansas City, Missouri. This photograph was taken at the Patricia Stevens Studio.
