Contestants 23, 24, 15, and 26 of the Miss Boating 1982 pageant stand in front of a Patricia Stevens agency banner that hangs behind them on silver lamé drapes wearing one-piece swimsuits. Their contestant cards are attached to their one-piece swimsuits on their left hips. Contestant 23 wears a chain necklace, a burgundy, v-neck swimsuit with spaghetti straps and rib cutouts, and also black sandals. Her eyes are closed as her head looks slightly down to her left. To her left, contestant 24 wears a black, v-neck swimsuit with red, blue, and green piping that meet up on her left side and spread out as they cross body of the swimsuit, earrings, a small one-gem necklace, a wrist watch, and black pumps. Her eyes are closed as she looks down in front of herself. Contestant 25 is of Asian descent, looks slightly to her left as she wears a black, v-neck swimsuit and black pumps. To her left, contestant 26 lifts her chin and smiles to her left as she wears a red and orange striped, scoop-neck swimsuit with a red/orange ribbon tied around the waist, a wrist watch, and brown sandals. The show was held at the Kansas City Trade Mart in the downtown airport, Kansas City, Missouri. This photograph was taken at the Patricia Stevens Studio.
