Contestants 16, 19, 24, 25, and 26 hold their contestant number cards and stand in front of a Patricia Stevens agency banner that hangs behind them on silver lamé drapes during a beauty pageant at Patricia Stevens studio. Farthest to the left, contestant 16 wears a white, cap-sleeved, v-neck t-shirt with a small collar and butterflies printed down the right side of the v-neck and turquoise shorts with white stripes down the sides, a wrist watch, and taupe shoes. To her left, contestant 19 wears earrings, a small necklace and bracelet, as well as an burnt orange, brown, and cream plaid blouse with short puffed sleeves with lace around the sleeves and the collar and a burnt orange bow at the center of the collar. She also wears burnt orange velveteen shorts and brown shoes. To her left, contestant 24 wears a white, v-neck t-shirt with navy blue piping around the collar and sleeves. There are three navy blue vertical stripes down the left side of the shirt. The stripes change to white on navy blue on the shorts. To her left, contestant 25 wears a cream, v-neck t-shirt with black outlining the "V" below the collar, a yellow stripe around the shoulders and down the sides, and burnt orange stripes around the sides and around the bottom of the sleeves. She also wears black shorts. Farthest to the right, contestant 26 wears a white t-shirt with tiny blue horizontal stripes, solid navy blue cap sleeves and piping on the button placard, navy blue shorts with the striping around the leg openings and on the sides, a necklace, and taupe sandals.
